Cloud Platform Engineer

IDR is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis or Dallas. This role is centered around building and deploying cloud solutions within a hybrid environment, focusing on automation, infrastructure as code, and supporting scalable cloud operations for enterprise platforms.

Position Overview for the Cloud Platform Engineer:

• Key member of the Cloud Solutions Architecture team responsible for creating and automating cloud components to streamline hotel setup activities.
• Contribute to designing reusable, scalable automation patterns across various functions using cloud infrastructure tools.
• Support the Hilton Hybrid Cloud environment, ensuring compliance with security policies and operational standards.
• Develop detailed engineering documentation and utilize ServiceNow to enhance ITSM processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud infrastructure automation and ongoing environment improvements.

Requirements for the Cloud Platform Engineer:

• 5-7 years of experience supporting applications in a cloud environment.
• Proficiency with AWS services such as EKS, ECR, IAM/IDC.
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Ability to support hybrid cloud environments and participate in on-call rotations.
• Strong documentation skills using Atlassian tools and experience with ServiceNow.
