We are currently seeking a Java Backend Engineer - Hybrid / Partially Client Onsite to join our team in Westlake, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Join a high-impact squad driving our client’s enterprise platform modernization journey—designing and integrating innovative solutions that shape the future of their technology landscape.

Leverage your full-stack development expertise to build robust, enterprise-grade applications and Java (Spring/Spring Boot).

Collaborate within a dynamic, agile team environment while also taking ownership of individual deliverables to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Required Skills/Experience (must have)

• 5+ years of demonstrable experience in full stack programming building scalable applications
• 5+ years’ experience with java spring-based frameworks and libraries preferably Spring boot
• 5+ years hands experience in cloud-based technologies, Microsoft Azure (Optional)
• 5+ years’ hands-on experience working with messaging technologies
• 5+ years experience building and consuming REST API based integration and microservices architecture
• 5+ years experience working with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins
• 5+ years experience with application testing frameworks like Junit
• 5+ years experience using Java 1.8/J2EE
• 5+ years experience using SOAP/ REST Web Services (API)
• 5+ years experience using Sprint Boot, Hibernate
• 5+ years experience using Apache Struts
• 5+ years strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to understand complex customer needs and transactions

Preferred Qualifications

• PL/SQL
• UI Technologies - JavaScript, Angular 14+
• Application Server - Tomcat/TC Server
• Databases - Good understanding and experience on RDBMS
• Methodology - Agile
• Prior experience on large scale IT Transformational Projects (Migration, Modernization)
