Human Resource Coordinator - Bilingual
- Handle Pre-employment and Onboarding process for new hires
- Conduct New Hire Orientation and complete I-9 Forms for employees in the Greater Houston Area
- Create, organize and maintain employee files in corresponding Area of Responsibility
- Complete data integrity audits in Hub, NOV Time, Law Logix, etc. and make requests/corrections as needed
- Action all promotions, transfers, status changes, salary changes and terminations (and any other employee record related actions in Hub) ensuring all authorization is received prior to processing
- Point of contact for NOV Time - timekeeping questions from managers or employees
- Complete weekly timecard sign-off for employees in corresponding Area of Responsibility
- Process weekly bonus payments (Ex: Field Service employees, Safety Boots)
- Submit direct deposit change requests through HR Central
- Point of contact to answer payroll related questions to employees
- Prepare and provide required periodic reports to different stakeholders (Finance, HSE, Operations, etc.) as needed
- Code and obtain necessary approvals to process invoices (CBES, Contingent Workers, etc.) and submit to A/P
- Process employee terminations
- Manage Quarterly Random Drug & Alcohol list testing in collaboration with HR Generalist.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- High School diploma or GED
- 2-4 years' experience in an HR support role or related field
- Must be highly proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and able to research, compile and clearly present information and data
- Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior organizational and interpersonal skills
- Action and results oriented with a focus on process mapping and improvement
- Ability to allocate time effectively to complete tasks
- Be quick to identify critical information and respond appropriately in a fast-paced environment
- Deliver solutions and decisions that are effective and constructively impact internal customers
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
- Ability to work independently
