CNC Eastman and Operator - Composites Technician

Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations through autonomous and intelligent platforms.Key Responsibilities:Program, set up, and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills (and routers) to kitand airbrush fiberglass & foam cores Interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360), and CAM files (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion, or NX) to produce accurate components to spec. Collaborate with mechanical engineers, composites technicians, and systems integrators to ensure fit, function, and manufacturability of parts. Select appropriate tooling, feeds, speeds, and fixturing strategies for high-accuracy work on composite materials. Maintain CNC equipment, tools, and workspaces in a clean and safe condition. Perform in-process quality checks and post-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools. Contribute to ongoing process improvements in CNC workflows, fixture design, and composite part accuracy.
