The primary purpose of the Human Resource Coordinator is to facilitate daily HR operations by providing administrative support, compiling and keeping personnel records, and acting as the first point of contact for staff inquiries. They bridge the gap between policy and practice, ensuring that recruitment, onboarding, and compliance activities are executed with precision to support a positive employee experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate employee records.
- Sort, file, and maintain incoming documentation/records.
- Answering inbound phone calls.
- Scheduling and aiding in setting up interviews.
- Assist with various aspects of human resources management, such as employee relations, benefits administration, and HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate employee orientation programs to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in human resources roles, with a focus on performance management and HR administration.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
This role requires a self-directed individual with a strong understanding of company policy. Team members must comply with all safety regulations in all work environments, including the plant. This position predominately operates in an office environment but may be exposed to multiple work environments, including manufacturing plant environment and laboratory environment. The ability to travel overnight or attend offsite meetings may be required periodically. Physical Requirements:
Occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.
Occasionally bend, twist, and turn while lifting up to 50 pounds.
Climbing flight of stairs
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
