Suites Cashier

:

General Definition:

• Responsible for all bartenders guest checks, tip outs, and buffet stickers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Handles cash and makes correct change for bartenders on cash tickets.
• Closes all bartenders tickets to correct tender.
• Pays out gratuities equitably to bartenders.
• Accepts leftover buffet stickers and credits correct number to waitstaff.
• Reconciles cash drawers and cash sheets.
• Picks up and drops off bank and cash sheets to Food & Beverage money room.
• Organizes and delivers paperwork to night auditor.
• Informs night auditor of any problems during shift either verbally or in writing before clocking out for the day.
• Consistently and accurately follows cash handling and financial responsibility procedures.
• Dependability, good attendance, and occasional overtime required.
• May be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or mandatory work days as scheduled.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical; or 1 years related experience and/or training; or combination.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Possess good organization skills.
• Basic math.
• Ability to communicate and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to interact positively with coworkers and management.
• Ability to prioritize time so that work is accomplished on a dependable basis; is reliable and committed to meeting schedules and deadlines.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, including being proactive and resourceful, working independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to win confidence and gain respect through consistent demonstrations of personal courtesy, tact and timely responsiveness.

Training:

• One year of cashier experience required

Licenses/Certifications/Other :

• Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions
