Experienced Marketing Coordinator

Michael G. Imber Architects is looking for an experienced and proactive Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team. This role is responsible for the creation, production, and delivery of Marketing materials for the firm, including client proposals and digital outreach and requires proficiency in graphic design and social media. Work with an amazing team of architects, designers and administrators in a warm, creative, studio environment. A driven candidate will have ample opportunity to collaborate, expand their capabilities and increase their level of responsibility over time.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate posting on social media daily for multiple accounts and both partners using Instagram and Later.
- Maintain and develop graphic standards of marketing tools and materials including website, brochures, newsletters, social media, invitations, email blasts, presentations, and other promotional opportunities.
- Coordinate the preparation of proposals, award submissions, and technical report documents, rough draft through final layout & production, including coordination with staff, partners and public relations and consultant firms.
- Ensure all deliverables are coordinated, consistent, relevant, and completed on time. Organize, maintain and update a Marketing database of project photos, project description sheets & related project data, proposal responses, and other items.
- Organize, coordinate, and execute tasks with strong attention to detail, a high level of professionalism, and appropriate timeliness in regard to scheduled milestones and deadlines for proposals and related sales support deliverables.
- Perform graphic design duties to support architectural presentations.
- Develop, measure, and manage metrics of social media components.
- Improve knowledge of latest media campaigns, best practices and technologies.
- Database maintenance and organization including project descriptions, staff resumes, and digital images/photography
- Coordinate photo shoots with clients, photographers, collaborators and admin staff
- Support interview and presentation preparation with hard copy print and electronic graphics
- Coordinate with publishers and editors of books, magazines, articles, etc.
Requirements
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite applications (i.e., InDesign, Photoshop).
- Strong writing and thorough editing skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge and experience with Instagram and other social media platforms
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Dedicated team player and creative problem-solver who is proactive, thorough, resourceful and fun to work with.
- Natural communications skills with the ability to effectively interact across the studio.
- Knowledge of or interest in the Design Industry a plus.
- Strong work ethic and highly organized, with ability to communicate, multi-task, and work under deadline pressure
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of design and marketing teams
- Demonstrated proficiency in graphics, writing, spelling, grammar and proofreading
- Attention to accuracy and detail. Responsible for the overall quality of work produced
Proficiencies:
- Graphics - In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Social Media platforms and apps
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Writing or related field
- OR
- Minimum of 3 years experience.
