Job Description:
We are actively hiring for a Python Automation Platform Engineer to support our client, Toyota Motors, through Infosys. This is a 100% onsite opportunity based in Plano, Texas, requiring candidates to work from the office five days a week.
We are looking for strong local candidates who possess solid Python automation experience and can attend mandatory in-person client interviews at the Toyota Plano office. Internal Infosys interviews will be conducted virtually.

Strong experience in Python development and automation platforms.
Local to Plano, TX or able to commute onsite five days a week.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to participate in a virtual Infosys interview followed by an in-person client interview.
We are seeking an Automation platform developer to support the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automation solutions for automotive multimedia head units. This role will work closely with the lead developer to implement code changes, provide technical support to tool users, and ensure high-quality automation software through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Support the lead developer with code writing, updates, and modifications
Provide technical support to users of automation tools and platforms
Perform quality assurance, troubleshooting, and software development for automation solutions used in automotive multimedia head units
Investigate issues, identify root causes, and deliver timely resolutions
Collaborate with stakeholders to improve tools, workflows, and overall productivity
Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of automation systems and related applications
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the automation workspace
Required Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Python scripting
Working experience with Agile methodology
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and solve issues in a timely manner
Proactive mindset with a focus on improving tools, processes, and work environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders
Preferred / Plus Skills
Experience with FastAPI
Experience working in Linux environments
Experience with React/TypeScript development
Working experience with hardware control scripting (I2C, GVIF, Serial)
Working experience with in-car network protocols such as CAN, CAN FD and Ethernet
Working experience in cloud development (GCP, AWS)
Prior knowledge of automated testing for automotive multimedia systems
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Added Bonus
Familiarity with automotive software development environments
Experience supporting production tools or internal automation platforms
Exposure to CI/CD, debugging tools, and version control systems such as Git
Experience with building/training AI agents and ML model
