JOB SUMMARY

We are an established and growing Commercial Insurance Brokerage seeking experienced Commercial Account Managers to support our clients. We are seeking organized, motivated professionals to join our team. This position is responsible for providing prompt, accurate, and reliable assistance in a team environment. Employees hired for this position have an opportunity to grow and develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities through a combination of educational programs and experiential (on-the-job) training.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assume responsibility for assigned accounts; Maintain cordial relationships with insured clients; Review policy documents for accuracy. Process endorsements and policy renewals; Prepare account submissions Assist Producers with proposals and associated materials for Sales presentations; Create & update spreadsheets, using Excel; Delegate specified tasks and assignments to Assistant-level staff, as appropriate. Issue Certificates of Insurance with the appropriate corresponding required documents upon request; Attach documents in the Agency Management System. Invoice endorsements, audits, and policies; Maintain a suspense system to follow up on outstanding items. Maintain electronic files per agency protocol; Service accounts in a manner to eliminate E&O exposures; Maintain regular, pro-active communication with service team members; Assume other job responsibilities as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and insurance experience Commercial insurance experience is required A Property and Casualty Insurance License is required

QUALIFICATIONS

Effective oral and written communication skills; Commercial Insurance knowledge, with the ability to read, analyze and interpret insurance policies, documents and regulations Math Skills - basic accounting, calculations involving decimals, fractions, pro-rata and percentages Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables Time Management skills to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of all responsibilities Proficient use of Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, the agency management (TAM) software system and office equipment Type 45-50 wpm Ability to maintain pleasant and professional relationships with co-workers, carriers, vendors and other business contacts; Professional work ethic Please submit your resume to [email protected] for consideration.
