Greenfield Milling TITLE Local CDL A- Tank Washer Job Location Dawn, TX 79025 Position Type Full Time Education Level None Salary Range $21.00 - $25.56 Hourly Travel Percentage None Job Shift Day Description Tank Washer - Class A CDL We are searching for a motivated individual to facilitate our Tank Wash Operation in Dawn, Texas. This person must hold a Class A CDL and be able to operate a tractor-trailer combination. Schedule: Sunday - Thursday Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Responsibilities: Work with Terminal Operations Supervisor to determine any washes necessary each day Safely transport equipment into and out of the wash bay Clean the tanks with pressurized hot water, brush and required soap and dry Clean all parts with pressurized hot water, small scrubber and required soap Write Wash Tickets for each unit cleaned Apply safety seals to sanitized units Maintain a clean and organized Wash Bay Inspect equipment for any necessary repairs, and complete Asset Inspection Form Move loaded, and empty trailers around the property at customer’s direction Occasionally Assist with Local pick-ups and deliveries Constantly communicate with Supervisor to meet needs timely Ensure compliance with all Company, Local, State and Federal regulations Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards Performs related duties as assigned Qualifications Qualifications Tank Washer-Class A CDL Qualifications: Current Class A CDL, with verifiable experience within the last 5 years Working knowledge of pneumatic trailers or willingness to learn Be able to climb into and out of trucks and trailers via a ladder Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be self-motivated, able to work extended periods without direct supervision Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions in English Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures Working Conditions: The job will require frequent outside work. This position requires physical efforts such as straining, pulling, lifting, working, climbing, standing and walking on concrete. Exposure to elements such as noise, dust, cold and hot temperatures, wet conditions Extreme climate or climate variation. Heat up to 100 degrees and low below freezing temperatures.
