Senior Administrative Assistant
Location: Amarillo, TX
Type: 12-Month Contract
Compensation: $34.00/hr. System One is actively seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant for a long-term contract position working onsite in Amarillo, TX. This Administrative Assistant will support base capital projects and site operations. The resource will be responsible for greeting visitors, supporting project teams (managers/engineers), coordinating contractor safety, and performing general administrative tasks. Senior Administrative Assistant:
- Ordering supplies, maintaining pool vehicle records, stocking and maintaining the coffee area, scanning reports and inspections, setting up meetings and ensuring technology is functioning properly.
- Handle onboarding, equipment ordering, and travel arrangements.
- Support approximately 20 site staff and must be positive, engaging, and proactive. The resource must be proactive and able to work independently without needing to be asked.
- Greeting visitors and coordinate site access.
- Support project teams including managers and engineers.
- Assist with contractor safety coordination.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support onsite teams.
- Order supplies and maintain inventory.
- Track pool vehicle maintenance records.
- Maintain and stock coffee area.
- Scan reports and inspection documents.
- Set up meetings and ensure technology is functioning.
- Support onboarding and equipment ordering.
- Coordinate travel arrangements.
- Run errands for the site as needed.
- 8-10 years of previous administrative experience.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Positive, engaging, and proactive attitude.
- Team player with strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Experience in a professional/corporate environment.
- Ability to solve problems and juggle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A positive and engaging demeanor is essential to support the dynamic needs of the site team.
Primary location is Amarillo, TX (Buchanan office), with travel to other sites including Lubbock, Earth (TX), and Hobbs (NM). This is an onsite role, expected to be 5–6 days per week. Duration is 12 months with potential for extension. Ref: #192-Precision San Antonio
