Key Responsibilities of the RN - Oncology

• Administer chemotherapy and perform CHG baths, including central line and dressing care
• Manage central line, mediport access, and lab draws
• Conduct blood product transfusions
• Ensure adherence to floating policy and unit guidelines

Requirements of the RN - Oncology

• Active TX RN License (Temp License not accepted)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• At least 5 years of oncology experience
• Experience with mediports, PICCs, and central lines
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
