Au Pair
You would have your own bedroom with a 50" TV, high speed internet, and your own car. We would also supply cell phone service and of course all meals and food. We would expect about 25-30 hours per week of work, about half of which would be child care after school for the kids with some housekeeping during the day. We would pay $300/week. You would not be expected to work weekends or evenings. Overall we find it very important to treat our babysitters or au pairs fairly and to strike the right balance between being an extended family member but also an employee who deserves to be treated justly. We would never want to take advantage or expect too much from an au pair.
