Senior Software Engineer
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Irving, TX. Duties Include:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services
- Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and architects to deliver scalable and reusable solutions
- Support front-end and back-end application development and integration efforts
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure applications remain secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs
- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and software release activities
- Monitor application performance, resolve technical issues, and support ongoing system stability
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting development best practices and continuous improvement
- 6+ years of experience in software development, engineering, or related technical roles
- Experience designing and developing web applications, APIs, or enterprise software solutions
- Knowledge of modern software architecture, development frameworks, and integration methodologies
- Experience working with cloud-based technologies, automated deployment processes, and scalable applications
- Familiarity with database design, data modeling, and data management principles
- Understanding of application security concepts, user access controls, and industry best practices
- Experience with software testing, performance optimization, and monitoring tools
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile or collaborative development environment
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
