Your Duties and Responsibilities Will Include
Hunting and Prospecting
- Own being appointment Setter and Closer
- Drive proactive door-to-door sales initiatives by conducting targeted prospecting efforts within both residential and commercial areas. Employ a personable and professional approach to engage potential customers, effectively introducing and showcasing the unique features and advantages of Everlights products and services. Skillfully articulate the value proposition to promote and successfully sell Everlights offerings.
- Consistently seek out new leads and identify prospective customers within designated territories through ongoing prospecting efforts.
- When receiving warm leads, provide in-home design consultations with businesses and homeowners to promote and sell Everlights products or services.
- Engage in in-depth, in-home design consultations with businesses and homeowners upon receiving warm leads, skillfully promoting and selling Everlights products or services to meet their unique needs.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with home builders, positioning Everlights as their exclusive holiday lighting partner to ensure collaborative success and mutual benefit
- Proactively participate in the Home Builders Association within your area, fostering enduring connections with home builders and contributing actively to the association's committees for sustained relationship development.
- Actively engage with local businesses by participating in your area's Chambers of Commerce, establishing enduring relationships and contributing to the association's committees to strengthen connections and promote Everlights products and services.
Utilize Effective Sales Skills
- Proactively follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, promptly address any issues, and cultivate lasting relationships to enhance customer loyalty.
- Apply sophisticated sales techniques to persuasively engage potential customers, effectively influencing them to make a purchase or commit to a follow-up appointment.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the product or service, proficiently addressing customer inquiries and concerns, thereby instilling confidence and trust.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay abreast of industry trends, enabling informed communication of product features and advantages to customers.
- Navigate objections and rejections adeptly, employing persistence and persuasive skills to overcome challenges and convert potential customers into successful sales.
- Represent the company with a high level of professionalism, consistently adhering to ethical standards and actively contributing to the positive promotion of the brand image.
Be an Active Sales Team Member
- Participate in sales training programs and professional development activities to enhance sales skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall sales strategies.
- Stay informed about competitors' products and sales strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and leads in the sales database.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a door-to-door or direct sales environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential customers.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to effectively close sales and overcome objections.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to prioritize leads and maximize sales opportunities.
- Resilience and perseverance to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude throughout the sales process.
- Confidence in approaching and interacting with strangers, demonstrating a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Exceptional listening skills to understand customer needs and tailor sales pitches accordingly.

- Basic computer skills to maintain accurate sales records and utilize sales software or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Mandatory Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to different locations within assigned territories.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or marketing is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or extended hours as necessary to reach potential customers.
