Position Overview

• Seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in Snowflake and data automation solutions.
• Responsible for automating data exchange and data processing within Snowflake environments.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to understand business objectives and system requirements.
• Analyze operational procedures, identify process improvements, and recommend automation solutions.
• Perform feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis for proposed system enhancements.
• Develop scalable, efficient, and maintainable data processing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, operational procedures, and existing systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input/output requirements and reporting needs.
• Develop Python-based automation solutions for data exchange and processing.
• Build and maintain Snowflake-based solutions and integrations.
• Design and implement automated workflows and data pipelines.
• Develop and support Snowpipe implementations.
• Build User Defined Functions (UDFs) in Snowflake.
• Create custom user interface solutions integrated with Snowflake.
• Prepare technical documentation, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Evaluate system capabilities and limitations for enhancement requests.
• Troubleshoot, test, deploy, and maintain developed solutions.
• Participate in Agile development and team collaboration activities.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Python development.
• Strong experience with automation and data processing solutions.
• Experience analyzing user requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing automated solutions involving data exchange with external partners.
• 2+ years of experience developing solutions using Snowflake Database.
• 2+ years of experience building solutions using Snowpipe.
• 2+ years of experience developing User Defined Functions (UDFs) in Snowflake.
• 1+ year of experience building Snowflake solutions with custom user interfaces.
• Experience with ETL/data integration solutions.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
