Barista Supervisor
Our Barista Supervisor leads daily coffee shop operations, ensuring high-quality beverage service, staff training, and exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, handling POS transactions, maintaining safety standards, and mentoring baristas. They often act as the manager on duty, focusing on efficiency and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Manage daily, weekly, and monthly operational tasks, including opening/closing, and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Staff Mentorship & Training: Train, supervise, and motivate baristas to deliver high-quality products and customer service.
- Quality & Safety Control: Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Inventory & Cash Management: Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage POS transactions/cash handling.
- Customer Experience: Resolve customer complaints and promote a welcoming, efficient environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1+ years of experience as a barista, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency with Micros , strong coffee-making knowledge, and excellent communication skills.
- Attributes: Team-oriented, adaptable, and reliable.
Common Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules.
