TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Dallas, Texas, 75230!
Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - BLS - ACLS - PALS Description: On call - One weekend a month and one day a week. The unit has 6 procedure rooms and 13 prep/recovery bays. There are 12 staff members on the unit. Day shift consists of 8 nurses and 4 techs. Estimated patient ratios for procedures are 1:1. Estimated patient ratios for prep/recovery are 2:1. The equipment used includes endoscopy devices. The electronic medical record system is Meditech. Preferred skills include experience in endoscopy. Typical procedures performed include EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy. Care is provided for both adults and pediatrics. The ideal candidate must possess required certifications in ACLS and PALS. Floating areas may include IR, PACU, and Day Surgery. Dress code for staff includes royal blue scrubs. Unit guidelines stipulate no phones, minimal call-ins, and no earbuds. There is a requirement for weekday and weekend on-call duties. About Cynet Health
