Job Description:

FINBOA is seeking a highly organized and analytical Staff Accountant to support our finance function. This individual will work closely with leadership to ensure timely and accurate financial data, assist in period-end close processes, and uphold accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries.



• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate classification of financial transactions.



• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.



• Analyze account activity and assist with variance reporting.



• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation.



• Assist with cash flow tracking and bank reconciliations.



• Support external audit and tax preparation activities (taxes prepared by KNAV Advisory Inc.).



• Contribute to process improvements and internal controls development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.



• 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a staff accountant or similar role.



• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.



• Experience with QuickBooks Online and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.



• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.



• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.



• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation: $64,967.00 - $70,273.00 per year
