Director Sales Enablement

Position Summary
The Director of Sales Enablement will lead the development and implementation of sales strategies and processes to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales team within a mitigation and reconstruction company. This role involves a deep understanding of the sales cycle, process optimization, and team leadership to ensure the sales team is well-equipped to meet their targets. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales management, process improvement, and team development in commercial services industry.
Essential Functions
- Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with company objectives and market dynamics.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and refine sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices in sales methodologies.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team. Focus on industry-specific knowledge, sales techniques, and CRM tools.
- Sales Tools and Resources: Identify, evaluate, and implement tools and resources that support the sales process, including CRM systems, sales enablement software, and data analysis tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, customer service) to ensure a cohesive approach to customer acquisition and retention.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish sales performance metrics and monitor the team's performance. Provide regular feedback and coaching to improve outcomes.
- Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market challenges. Use insights to inform sales strategies and processes.
- Leadership: Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Experience and Skill Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales management, preferably in the mitigation and reconstruction industry or a related services industry.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Process Improvement: Strong experience in sales process analysis and optimization.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Salesforce.com Expertise: Experience with Salesforce.com software and sales enablement tools.
- Adaptability and Innovation: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and innovate sales processes and strategies.
Physical Requirements and Travel
- Work from branch office with 20% or more of time spent outside office to client locations, trade associations and events in a local market.
- Ability to travel away from home occasionally for multiple consecutive nights using both personal and/or commercial transportation.
- Occasional physical lifting up to 50 pounds for trade show materials, luggage, etc. Ability to stand for multiple hours daily during trade shows and marketing events.
