Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Travel experience required - Charting experience with Epic Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery. The shift is three nights each week, with each shift lasting twelve hours. Two years of nursing experience is required for this role. Travel experience is necessary for this position. The nurse will have experience with charting using Epic. The required certifications include ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP. Familiarity with patient ratios in labor is preferred. The nurse will provide care for neonates and adults in a high-volume environment. Key skills include administration of blood products, assistance with high-risk deliveries, and support for breastfeeding. Experience with infant identification, postpartum hemorrhage management, and the use of fetal monitoring techniques is also needed. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. Candidates should be prepared to handle various patient diagnoses and complex medical situations.
