OB/GYN Physician Position in Austin, TX
Our affiliate, Unified Women‘s Healthcare of Texas, is looking for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join their prestigious Hill Country OBGyn with offices in Austin and Dripping Springs, TX. About the Practice:
The practice consists of 8 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners along with a great support staff. This is an established group of top-notch providers that have built up a large patient base by serving women in the Austin Metro area for over 2 decades. The practice has clinic locations in Austin and Dripping Spring and deliveries as well as GYN surgeries are performed at the St. David‘s South Austin Medical Center which has a Level 2 NICU, women‘s health subspecialists, and hospitalist physicians to assist the practice.
This is an excellent for a new OBGyn to join an established practice with excellent mentorship and a true team approach to patient care.
It is also an opportunity for an experienced Physician to take their career to the next level.
What you can expect:
- Very well established, growing practice with 8 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners covering 2 clinic locations conveniently located 12 miles apart
- Call is done at one hospital - you must live within a 30 mile radius of the hospital; otherwise, a dedicated call room is available
- St. David‘s South Austin has a Level II NICU, women‘s health subspecialists, hospitalist support, as well as daVinci capabilities
- GYN surgeries can also be done at St. David‘s Austin Surgery Center
- Great work/life balance - 1 in 7 call schedule and 1 out of every 7 weekends.
- Post-call day off
- Clinic patient census: ~25/day
- Average 12-15 deliveries per month per physician

Requirements:
- OBGyn Residency from a USGME accredited program
- Board Certification (or Board Eligibility if within 5 years of training completion)
- Active, unrestricted TX medical license (or ability to obtain one)
- DEA license
