Finance Administration
:
Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Administrator with prior experience in the construction industry . The ideal candidate must be proficient in SAGE accounting software and knowledgeable in local tax compliance, including quarterly filings, IVU, and 10% withholding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and follow up on customer accounts and collections.
- Prepare and issue invoices according to project contracts and terms.
- Apply and reconcile payments and maintain accurate records.
- File quarterly tax reports and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Handle IVU (sales and use tax), 10% withholding , and related filings.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Provide general support to the accounting department as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction-related companies (required).
- Proficiency in SAGE accounting software (required).
- Knowledge of Puerto Rico tax requirements including IVU and 10% withholding.
- Experience with quarterly filings and financial reporting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
