Electrical Commissioning Agent II

Candidates will play a key role in the commissioning process, from reviewing design packages to hands-on testing and documentation, while interfacing with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute commissioning activities for electrical systems in data centers, including generators, switchgear, UPS, and PDUs.
• Review and evaluate design packages to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Level 1–5 commissioning tests.
• Conduct integrated system and load bank testing to validate system performance and reliability.
• Develop detailed commissioning documentation, including O&M manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Methods of Procedure (MOPs).
• Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams throughout the commissioning process.
• Support field troubleshooting and problem resolution for electrical systems during commissioning.
• Ensure all systems are tested, validated, and operating at peak efficiency in accordance with IEEE/ASHRAE standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of engineering experience, preferably in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Hands-on experience with electrical equipment testing.
• Strong documentation and technical report-writing skills.
• Familiarity with IEEE and ASHRAE standards.
• Ability to support field troubleshooting and resolve technical issues.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering is a plus.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to work in active construction and critical facility environments.
