Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Helpdesk Support professional to provide first-line technical support to end users within a fast-paced Oil & Gas environment. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring minimal downtime for critical business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Level 1/Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and standard business applications
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory
Support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/VPN)
Log, track, and resolve incidents using IT ticketing systems
Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams for issue resolution
Support remote users and field/site offices
Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
Ensure compliance with company IT security policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Experience with Active Directory and user management
Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred Skills
Experience in Oil & Gas or industrial environment
Knowledge of ITIL processes
Basic cybersecurity awareness
Ability to support site operations and shift work if required
