Household Supervisor

We are looking for a dedicated and sophisticated Household Supervisor to become the backbone of a well-run, elegant home. This is a hands-on role for someone who finds satisfaction in order, takes genuine pride in their work, and understands that the details are what make the difference.

You will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the household — from keeping the home immaculate and wardrobes perfectly organised, to ensuring events and gatherings come together and are wrapped up seamlessly. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, naturally resourceful, and brings a quiet sophistication to everything they do.

We are looking for someone whose focus is the home itself — its upkeep, its atmosphere, and its readiness for every occasion.

Requirements

Household Upkeep & Daily Chores

• Maintain the home to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and order
• Carry out and/or oversee daily and weekly household chores including dusting, tidying, vacuuming, and surface cleaning
• Manage laundry, ironing, and the careful handling of delicate fabrics and garments
• Ensure all household supplies are monitored and restocked proactively
• Coordinate with any external cleaning or maintenance personnel as needed

Wardrobe & Clothing Care

• Organise and maintain personal wardrobes with precision and care
• Handle seasonal wardrobe changeovers and storage
• Oversee proper care, repair coordination, and organisation of clothing and accessories
• Ensure garments are always ready, pressed, and presented immaculately

Events & Entertaining

• Prepare the home thoroughly before private dinners, gatherings, and events
• Assist with setup, styling, and ensuring every detail is in place
• Be present during events to ensure everything runs smoothly front-of-house
• Handle full post-event reset — cleaning, restoring order, and returning the home to its best
• Liaise with caterers, florists, or other vendors as required

General Support

• Run household-related errands as needed
• Flag and follow up on maintenance issues in a timely manner
• Anticipate the household's needs before they become requests
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times

• Knowledge of garment care and wardrobe management
• Experience supporting or coordinating private events
