The Medical Receptionist plays a key role in supporting general practitioners by managing patient interactions and administrative tasks. As part of a reception team, this position ensures seamless patient registration, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification during standard office hours without the need for travel.
Responsibilities
- Register patients efficiently and accurately
- Schedule and manage appointments
- Handle phone calls professionally
- Verify patient insurance information
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in medical administration
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Proficient in patient scheduling software
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and solve problems effectively
