Job Purpose
Our client, a leading provider of interior finish solutions for residential builders , is seeking a Finish Quality Supervisor to oversee and elevate the quality of their cabinetry finishing department.
This role is designed for seasoned finishing professionals who take pride in craftsmanship and have a passion for ensuring that every product leaving the line is polished to perfection. As Finish Quality Supervisor, you will have the authority, resources, and respect needed to maintain the highest standards.
Your Mission
You’ll own and lead quality in the finishing department, serving as the final line of defense between good and great. From supervising inspections to improving finishing processes, you’ll ensure that every cabinet delivered meets the company’s reputation for craftsmanship, durability, and excellence .
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of quality inspectors, ensuring precise inspections throughout the finishing process—from initial prep to final touches.
Identify and resolve quality issues quickly, applying corrective actions that maintain consistency and perfection.
Collaborate with production teams to refine finishing techniques and implement best practices.
Oversee documentation of inspections and compliance with internal standards and industry regulations.
Conduct regular quality audits to ensure alignment with certifications and organizational goals.
Qualifications & Required Skills
3–5 years of experience in quality control or a supervisory role, ideally within cabinetry, wood products, or related manufacturing.
Expertise in finishing processes such as staining, painting, coating, and polishing.
Proven leadership skills with experience guiding teams to meet high-quality standards.
Familiarity with ISO standards, lean manufacturing, and quality certifications is a strong advantage.
