Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Location: Conroe, Texas (77304) – Texas healthcare jobs
• Facility: Hospital – Level II Trauma Center
• Position Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Radiologic Technologist
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 09/08/2025 – End: 12/08/2025)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Equipment: GE ultrasound systems
• EMR: Meditech
• PACS: McKesson
• Dress Code: Hunter Green Scrubs

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Ultrasound Technologist
• Current RDMS (Abdomen) Certification
• Current RDMS (OB/Gyn) Certification
• Current RVT Certification
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• Ability to float to outpatient imaging centers as needed
• Strong customer service, teamwork, efficiency, and self-direction

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound and radiology procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced trauma center
• Deliver imaging services to patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics
• Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR and McKesson PACS
• Float to outpatient imaging centers as assigned, ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care
• Follow department protocols, safety standards, and hospital policies
• Demonstrate flexibility to work additional or alternate shifts during critical staffing periods or holidays as needed
