Opportunity:

Virtual Service Operations is actively seeking a talented individual with an active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance to join our team as a cleared Software Engineer based in Richardson, TX to develop and support software in Java, C, and C++ with a focus on video processing, networking protocols, and classified program requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in software development and engineering
• Proficiency in Java, C, and C++
• Experience with networking including level of knowledge of both TCP and UDP protocols.
• Understanding/experience with MPEG-2 Transport streams and/or Programs streams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience/Exposure to MTI formats and data
• Experience with GStreamer, FFMPEG, or other video libraries
• Understanding/Experience with KLV metadata and MISB standards
• Experience or familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively diagnose and address issues

Requirements

• Must possess an active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance
• Must be within driving distance of Richardson, Texas, or willing to relocate to the area (Relocation Assistance Package Available)
• Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status
• Must be willing to work onsite
