Position OverviewAs an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will evaluate, plan, and implement treatment for residents using evidence-based approaches to improve independence and quality of life. You’ll also play a key role in patient and family education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and documentation of care. Key Responsibilities * Evaluate residents to determine functional impairments and therapy needs * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on ADLs and IADLs * Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed * Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications * Educate patients, families, and caregivers on recovery techniques * Maintain timely and accurate documentation * Attend meetings and contribute to care planning * Ensure compliance with all facility and regulatory guidelines Qualifications * Active Texas Occupational Therapist license * In good standing with all licensing boards and regulatory agencies * Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or long-term care preferred * Familiarity with Net Health documentation system a plus * Strong interpersonal and communication skills Why Join Oakmont Humble? * In-House Therapy Team – No Contracted Services * New Grads Welcome * Flexible PRN Scheduling * Competitive Pay * Team-Oriented Culture Confidential inquiries are welcome.
