Desktop Support
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Desktop Support in Houston, TX. Roles and Responsibilities: Technical Support & Operations: Provide onsite and remote support for IT infrastructure and end-user technology, including:
- Workstations, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and peripherals
- Network equipment, wireless access points, routers, switches, servers, storage, and backup appliances
- Telephony and mobile communication devices
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace hardware and software issues for supported devices
- Coordinate workstation imaging, OS deployments, upgrades, and refresh cycles
- Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and other enterprise desktop applications
- Provide printer, copier, and fax support including connectivity, troubleshooting, toner replacement, and vendor coordination
- Assist with wireless access points, VPN connectivity, and mobile device support
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
