Cocktail Server

Lucy Cooper's Icehouse is an over-21 establishment in San Antonio! We are looking for motivated, experienced cocktail servers to join our team! Whether you're serving Boodreaux's Bacon or a Shut the Front Door Margarita, our guests are here not only for the atmosphere, but an amazing time at Dirty Bingo or watching their favorite sports team! We pride ourselves on customer service as well as building a clientele here. Whether we are working really hard, serving our guests on the patio, or catering for a birthday party, we are excited to be able to add to our team! We have plenty of growth opportunities here at Lucy Cooper's Icehouse, and we are really excited about meeting you!

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests effectively.
• Familiarity with the Toast POS System is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are required.
• A willingness to learn about beverages, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic options.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and present beverage menus.
• Take drink orders accurately and efficiently using the OpenTable system.
• Serve beverages promptly while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Assist with food service as needed, including food preparation and presentation.
• Process transactions using the cash register, ensuring accuracy in handling payments.
• Upsell beverages and food items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the beverage service area, including proper food safety practices.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure seamless service.
