Position Overview

As Lead ER Veterinarian, you’ll set the tone for excellence in emergency care while maintaining a balanced caseload. You’ll mentor team members, guide clinical standards, and help drive operational and medical quality within the department.

What You'll Do

• Oversee clinical quality, medical case management, and workflow for the ER team
• Mentor, train, and support associate veterinarians and technical staff
• Manage emergency and critical care cases with confidence and compassion
• Collaborate closely with specialty departments and hospital leadership
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on growth and learning

What We're Looking For

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree
• Active Texas veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum 3–5 years of emergency or critical care experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Commitment to high-quality, empathetic medicine
