- Monday – Friday 10-hour shifts with beeper call coverage
- 20 – 30 patients per shift
- Scheduled colonoscopies and inpatient consults
- Upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, PEG, EUS, liver biopsy required
- Light call lift through emergency department for GI bleeds
- Hospitalist service provides primary medical coverage
- Average 2+ callbacks per week
- Ongoing assignment
