Temporary Help Desk Call Center Representative - (13351)

InGenesis is currently seeking Temporary Help Desk Call Center Representatives to join our team. In this role, you will provide frontline customer support in a 24/7 call center environment, assisting external users by answering questions, providing information, and processing password reset requests in accordance with established policies and procedures. Representatives are scheduled to support around-the-clock operations.

The ideal candidate will deliver a positive customer experience through professional, timely, and accurate service while escalating issues that fall outside their scope of responsibility to the appropriate support team.

Work Schedule

This position supports a 24/7 operation. Schedules may include day shifts, evening shifts, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.

Job Duties

• Answer inbound calls and respond to general inquiries from external users in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
• Assist users with password reset requests and account access issues in accordance with established security and identity verification procedures.
• Provide accurate information regarding services, resources, policies, and procedures.
• Escalate calls and requests that fall outside the scope of general support or require specialized assistance.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies regarding customer information and data security.
• Support 24/7 call center operations by working scheduled shifts as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree preferred.
• One (1) year of call center help desk experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight hours in a 24/7 operation.
• Proficiency with basic business productivity applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to follow established policies, procedures, scripts, and workflows.
• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to accurately document customer interactions and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ability to multitask, remain professional under pressure, and effectively manage high call volumes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify customer identity prior to performing password reset activities.
