Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Austin, Texas(Hybrid)

Job Description:

• Lead the replacement of a legacy case management system with a modern, scalable, and efficient solution that supports enhanced functionality and future enhancements.
• Implement standard project management practices aligned with Agile methodologies and PMI framework .
• Establish and manage project organization, governance, and methodology within an Agile (Scrum) environment.
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand project objectives and ensure alignment throughout all phases.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Develop and maintain project charters, work plans, and other key project artifacts .
• Oversee system design, development, and delivery activities, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and quality standards.
• Manage project execution using feature-driven Agile methodology , track progress, and ensure milestones are met.
• Identify, document, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies ; develop contingency plans as needed.
• Conduct regular status meetings and provide weekly written and verbal updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Guide and facilitate the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into technical deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Provide on-call support as needed during critical project phases.
• Deliver professional presentations and reports to leadership and oversight bodies.
• Serve in an analyst capacity when required to support business or technical teams.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation to internal teams for long-term sustainability.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years of Project Management experience for large-scale enterprise implementations.
• 8+ years of experience managing projects for State or Federal agencies or similar environments.
• 8+ years of hands-on development or technical background.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience with the State Project Delivery Framework or similar standards.
• 4+ years of PMP Certification or equivalent project management accreditation.
• 3+ years of experience managing Agile/Scrum projects.
• 2+ years of Salesforce project experience .
• 1+ year of experience with state procurement and contracting processes .
• 1+ year of experience using JIRA for project tracking and management.
