Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Are you passionate about supporting diverse learners in reaching their full potential? Were looking for a Special Education Teacher who is mitted to delivering high-quality instruction and services to middle and high school students (grades 612). This role supports approximately 20 students through both push-in and pull-out services in an inclusive and collaborative educational environment.
What You'll Do:Deliver targeted instruction based on student IEP goals in general education and resource settings
Work with teachers and support staff to provide modifications, acmodations, and behavioral strategies
Attend and actively participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, ensuring pliance with state and federal requirements
Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and inform instruction
municate regularly with families, service providers, and administrative staff
Promote an inclusive culture that values each learners strengths and abilities
Current Texas EC12 Special Education Certification (required)
Demonstrated experience with ARD processes and documentation
Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
Effective munication and organization skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and maintain a student-centered approach
Public school setting, serving students in grades 612
Supportive and professional school culture
Caseload of roughly 20 students with a wide range of abilities and needs
This position requires a mitment of 37.5hours per week from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM
Employment is for the duration of the school year, following the academic calendar
