Floor Care Technician with Marble Experience

Overview:

The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Floor Care Technician with Marble experience to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.
The Floor Care Technician with Marble experince will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness, appearance, and longevity of our floors, contributing to a safe and opulent environment for our discerning guests .

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning and maintenance of marble surfaces, including polishing, buffing, and sealing
• Identify and address specific issues – stains, scratches, odors or damage on marble and carpeted floors
• Utilize specialized equipment and cleaning solutions to preserve quality and aesthetics of marble and carpeted surfaces
• Execute carpet cleaning procedures – vacuuming, shampooing, and steam cleaning
• Conduct regular, thorough inspections to identify any maintenance needs or potential issues with floors, providing swift solutions
• Report and document findings, recommend and implement appropriate actions to address concerns promptly
• Maintain and ensure the optimal functioning of all floor care equipment
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with cleaning chemicals and equipment

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Floor Care Technician with specialized expertise in marble and carpet care
• Knowledge of various floor types, cleaning chemicals and methods, and operation of equipment
• Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
• Physical demands: ability to lift heavy equipment and move furniture
