Commercial Partnership Coordinator

Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is a 365-entertainment destination for world-class events located in Austin, TX. The sports and entertainment portfolio at COTA is unmatched in the country with Formula 1 US Grand Prix, NASCAR and MotoGP attracting global fans during championship races on the famed Circuit and Live Nation producing over 30 headline concerts every year at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater.

The Commercial Partnerships Coordinator position will assist with ensuring clients receive exceptional service while the business' sales goals are supported. They will work directly with the Director of Commercial Partnerships + Client Services by providing administrative support, process and implementation, and graphic design skills to the Sponsorship Department. This position involves critical assignments to ensure partnership elements are executed as planned and strategic programs are presented in a professional and productive manner.

Essential Functions:

  • Key support in developing process and protocol across the Sponsorship team to improve the client services and fulfillment workflow
  • Assist with developing client-facing materials
  • Oversee existing and new client contracts to log and track assets over the season
  • Provide support with tracking and managing sponsor brand impressions and value overall to assist with post-event client recaps
  • Collaborate with internal teams on maintenance and creation of new assets for sponsors
  • Assist with delivering and activating contractual sponsor elements including media, signage, promotions, tickets, suites and hospitality.
  • Assist with sponsorship activation elements at all events, motorsports, concerts and festivals.
  • Communicate with partners regularly to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Attend corporate sales events and sponsor promotions.
  • Provide excellent service and support to sponsors as needed
  • Support other departments and ensure company vision and objectives are met.
  • Other duties as assigned including special projects.

Physical Demand & Work Environments:

  • Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to squat, bend, twist, push/pull.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
  • Work in extreme environments outdoors throughout the year.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events.

  • Minimum 1-3 years sports marketing/sponsorship experience
