Student Clerk

IMEG is hiring a Student Clerk in Waco, TX, to assist with administrative and minimal technical aspects related to engineering and administrative projects. In this role, you’ll support the Civil team by helping with basic design support, documentation, and project organization.

Principal Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative and minimal technical support for engineering and administrative projects
• Assist with design portions of a project related to engineering systems
• Assist with researching resources for commercially available equipment
• Assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks related to engineering or administrative office tasks
• Assist with documenting design decisions
• Assist with documenting meetings and instructions from team members
• Assist with review of all project documents for accuracy and completeness

Required Qualifications And Skills

• Pursuing secondary education with an interest in engineering or design
• Strong interest in engineering consulting
• Proficient in MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to clearly communicate both orally and written to individuals or groups
• Skilled in the use of modeling software a plus This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

• Civil specialties include municipal engineering, land development, surveying, environmental services, and construction inspection
• Land development support includes site planning, grading, utilities, and permitting to help turn raw land into buildable sites
• Experience includes bridge design, rehabilitation, and inspection
