Quality Documentation Specialist
Openwork is currently seeking a detail-oriented Document Control / PPAP Clerk to join a growing manufacturing team in the Navigation area of Houston . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in document control, quality systems, manufacturing documentation, and PPAP processes who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Review, maintain, and organize manufacturing and quality documentation
- Prepare, update, and manage Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation
- Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and customer requirements
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and update documentation as needed
- Organize and maintain customer-specific documentation and records
- Assist with product and document change requests
- Support document configuration and product data management
- Provide documentation support and training to internal teams when needed
- Ensure documentation systems remain accurate and organized
- Assist with multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Previous experience in Document Control, Quality, Manufacturing Administration, or PPAP
- Knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) required
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Experience with product documentation, configuration management, or manufacturing processes is preferred
- Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Pay: $25.00$27.00/hour DOE
Schedule: MondayFriday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Location: Houston, TX (Navigation Area)
