Forklift Operator (Line Driver)

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator (Line Driver) to join our production team. This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility while supporting production operations and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, quality-driven, and able to work independently in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to transport raw materials, finished goods, and production supplies.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Perform general labor duties as needed to support production and warehouse operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
• Load, unload, and stage materials accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained while handling materials.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting production goals.
• Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with coworkers and visitors.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned to support business operations.
• Be punctual and ready to begin work at least five minutes before the scheduled shift.
• Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to obtain and successfully complete the company's forklift certification, including both written and practical evaluations.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 55 pounds , with the ability to lift up to 100 pounds as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions.
