What is the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Proposal Manager, this role is responsible for identifying bid opportunities, managing the bid/no-bid decision process, and handling client and procurement site registrations.
What You'll Do Here
- Facilitate the bid/no-bid decision-making process for opportunities across North America.
- Conduct research on client and bid sourcing platforms to identify potential opportunities.
- Maintain and update the pursuit database to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Keep the client database current and organized.
- Manage client site registrations across various procurement platforms.
What You Bring to The Team:
- A proactive and collaborative team player with 1–2 years of experience in bid sourcing, ideally within the utilities construction sector.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce and manage reports related to bid sourcing and business development pipelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with bidding platforms such as Merx, Biddingo, Bids & Tenders, and U.S. bidding sites.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.
- Technical understanding of the utilities industry is a significant asset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, balancing competing priorities with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
