Product Manager Global Air Freight
As a core member of the team, you will drive the execution of high-priority initiatives designed to expand the company's footprint within the international air freight market. This role requires seamless coordination across diverse functional areas—including commercial, operations, sales, finance, and technology—on a global scale to ensure alignment with corporate objectives. You will serve as a subject matter expert, leveraging deep market insights to provide thought leadership and strategic guidance as the corporation builds out the necessary capabilities to successfully penetrate the market. By navigating complex global logistics landscapes and fostering cross-regional collaboration, you will be instrumental in transforming our market entry strategies into sustainable competitive advantages.
Experience & Qualifications
- Extensive International transportation or air freight industry experience
- Strong understanding of program management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively lead and motivate teams, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and manage conflicts.
- Excellent presentation skills (written and oral) and ability to articulate ideas in all forms of communication with exceptional storytelling
- Experience and comfort presenting complex concepts to stakeholders, including executive leadership
- Strong critical thinking and strategic thinking abilities
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify risks, analyze complex situations, and make informed decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and priorities.
- At least 1 year Program/Project Management Experience
- At least 1 year International Transportation or Freight Forwarding Experience
- Cross functional team experience
- Experience working across a global organization
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in product marketing, economics, business, or related field.
Minimum Experience
Three (3) years work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research, or equivalent.
More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master’s Degree equals two (2) years experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact based data analysis.
Strong communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring and solving skills.
Strong executive presence and human relations skills.
Strong project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pay Transparency: Memphis range: $6,511.62/mo - $10,744.16/mo; Pittsburgh range: $6,854.33/mo - $11,309.65/mo; Plano range: $6,854.33/mo - $11,309.65/mo
Pay:
Additional Details: This is a hybrid position located in Memphis, TN, Pittsburgh, PA, or Plano, TX. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week.
