Host/Hostess
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Job description:
Space Cowboy is a uniquely futuristic bar and bistro located in East Austin. While the space is dark and intimate reminiscent of the night sky, the tapas-style dishes and innovative cocktails are bright and flavorful. With worldly flavors and a global cutting-edge mindset, your food and drinks will arrive at your table through our high-tech robot system.
This is the ultimate space to visit when you want to wow a date, grab a few small bites, or just need a few really good cocktails to enjoy the evening.
Duties:
- Manage Seating & Reservation Software
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Entrance and assist with dining areas
- Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
