Position:
Texas plays a major role in the nation's politics, including voting rights, redistricting, gun laws and abortion. This reporter will cover the impact of the changes to redrawn congressional maps as well as elections, voting rights, restrictions, registration and access, telling these stories originating at the state/local level for national and global audiences in a competitive way.
Salary and Benefits: $55,000 to $80,000
Health insurance and benefits, at least two weeks vacation and a company-issued laptop
