We're hiring a Quality and Safety Manager for our Paris, Tx and Maxton, NC location. If you have Safety experience, this is your opportunity to grow with a fast-paced, forward-thinking team.
JOB SUMMARY:
Ensures all contract packaging services, warehousing processes, and business operations comply with customer requirements and the standards of all regulatory agencies that apply to the business including the FDA, USDA, and others. Supports the organization in complying with all other applicable certifications including Safe Quality Foods, ISO 9001, and others, by developing and implementing the appropriate operating procedures, training plans, and audit processes. Engages with customer quality representatives and leadership as necessary to support inquiries, new projects, audits, and issue resolutions to support business operations and to grow the relationship. Develops safety program to ensure a healthy and accident-free workplace. Supports corporate safety initiatives and policies as needed.
What You’ll Do:
- Partners with operational leadership to develop and maintain any necessary policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all customer requirements and external standards required for We Pack’s food and beverage centric repack business.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for customer quality needs including concerns, issues, new project requests, or other asks.
- Performs root cause analysis regarding any customer complaints or product non-conformance issues with the appropriate organizational follow up and documentation or training changes.
- Directly or indirectly guides and supports operational quality team members including supervisors, leads, and other clerks in successfully completing daily tasks and work.
