The CRNA practices in collaboration and under the medical direction of an Anesthesiologist. The CRNA assumes the care of patients at all acuity levels in a variety of settings for procedures including, but not limited to, surgical, diagnostic, emergency and therapeutic.Education:Graduate of an approved accredited school of Nurse Anesthesia; Masters of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.Certification/Licensure:Texas professional registered nurse license and advance practice nurse license. Recognition from the State Board of Nurse Examiners as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Certified or re-certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
