We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue invoices for time and materials using QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

• Analyze financial data extracted from internal systems to identify discrepancies and ensure proper billing.

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable processes, including tracking outstanding balances and reporting on payment statuses.

• Perform cash application activities, ensuring payments are accurately applied to customer accounts.

• Utilize Excel formulas to process and analyze data effectively for billing and reporting purposes.

• Maintain organized and detailed records of transactions to support audits and financial reviews.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Contribute to process improvements within the accounts receivable department to enhance efficiency.

• Provide regular updates on accounts receivable metrics and key performance indicators.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks for billing and invoicing tasks.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including the use of formulas for data analysis.
• Strong understanding of cash application processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
